1. Who provides Lunoria
By downloading or using Lunoria, you agree to these Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use Lunoria.
3. Your license
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Lunoria on Apple devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with these Terms and Apple’s App Store terms.
4. What Lunoria is — and what it is not
This section is a core part of these Terms. Lunoria is not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional of any kind, and you agree not to rely on it as such.
5. AI-generated content
Readings and chat replies in Lunoria are generated by artificial intelligence and are marked as such in the app. AI-generated content can be wrong, incomplete, or inconsistent. It is provided for reflection and entertainment only, and section 4 applies to all of it. When you chat in Lunoria, you are chatting with AI, not a human.
6. Subscriptions (Lunoria Plus)
- Lunoria offers an optional auto-renewing subscription (“Plus”) purchased through Apple. The price and billing period are shown in the App Store and on the purchase screen before you buy.
- The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it at any time in your Apple ID settings (Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions).
- Where a free trial is offered, the trial converts to a paid subscription at the price shown unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
- EU/EEA consumers: you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for digital services. When you start a subscription or trial, Apple asks for your express consent to immediate performance; to the extent permitted by law, the withdrawal right lapses once performance has begun with that consent. This paragraph is in addition to, not in substitution for, your mandatory consumer rights.
- Refunds are handled by Apple through Apple’s standard refund process. We cannot issue refunds for purchases made through the App Store.
7. Your content
Journal entries, mood check-ins, and people you add are stored on your device (see the Privacy Policy). You retain all rights in what you write. You are responsible for the information you enter, including another person’s birth details — only add them if you are confident the person would not mind.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use Lunoria for any unlawful purpose, or to harm yourself or others;
- attempt to circumvent plan limits, security measures, or content safeguards;
- reverse engineer, scrape, or access the service by automated means;
- resell or commercially exploit the app or its content.
We may suspend or limit access that violates this section.
9. Intellectual property
Lunoria, including its design, software, and content (other than your own entries), belongs to us or our licensors. No rights are granted except the license in section 3.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
Lunoria is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy of astrological or AI-generated content, fitness for a particular purpose, and uninterrupted availability. This does not affect warranties that cannot be excluded under applicable mandatory law.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Studio Volt’s total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the app is limited to the total amount you paid us for the app in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, and in any case shall not exceed CHF 50. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for decisions you make in reliance on content in the app (see section 4).
Nothing in this clause excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for gross negligence or wilful intent (Swiss Code of Obligations Art. 100), for fraud, or any non-waivable statutory consumer rights.
12. Apple
These Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Lunoria and is not responsible for the app or its content. If Lunoria fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price; Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
13. Changes; termination
We may update Lunoria, and may add, change, or remove features. We may update these Terms; the current version, with its date, is always available at https://studiovolt.dev/lunoria/terms.html, and continued use after an update constitutes acceptance. You can stop using Lunoria at any time. We may terminate or suspend access for breach of these Terms. Sections 4, 5, 9, 10, 11, 14, and 15 survive termination. Your mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Swiss law, excluding its conflict-of-law rules, with exclusive jurisdiction in Switzerland — except that if you are a consumer habitually resident in the EU/EEA or the UK, you additionally benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence, and you may bring or defend proceedings in your home courts where mandatory law so provides.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, it applies to the maximum extent permitted, and the remaining provisions remain in full force.
